Fast Picks: Jack Spade Surplus Sale

Jack Spade Surplus Sale – Exp. 2/11

Waterproof iPhone Case with Earphone & Strap for Cell Phone

Big Hefty Please note: No, this sale isn't becoming written about because they bought advertising. That is not the way it works here. There is no "buy advertising, get a write-up! " shenanigans going on. Sure we all leave some cash on the table by not really doing that stuff, but it appears like bad business to do otherwise.

The facts of the matter is, for those people concerned about affordability, Jack Spade in full retail is over-priced. (And that will sound you just heard was the look for the next ad-buy being torn in order to shreds). Their stuff, to many, can be enormously attractive and certainly well-enough made. But asking $400 for the canvas/leather brief or $300 for the quartz watch to start? That's simply not going to happen. But their sales could be good. And this sale seems to have bottomed out the prices on some of their products. You DO have to hand over your e-mail and zip code (pretty be certain to get put on their email list), and note that these goods are final sale. Be careful. Good luck in order to ya.

Canvas & Leather Darrow Brief – $149 ($398)

The particular star of the sale. A nice mixture of black canvas with black natural leather walks the line between dressed up plus casual that so many places of work can be found in.

Reed Leather Top Dopp – $69 FINAL ($198)

Great idea using the design. While most dopps have one East/West running zipper across the top, this particular thing lays all the way open to provide you with a better view of your Dopp's items. Made from textured Italian leather. Deal with at the side. iPhone 4 waterproof case lining.

Rancourt & Co. Barron Boat Sneakers – $99 FINAL ($250)

'MURICA! or… wow that's really eco-friendly. Full grain suede uppers, white-colored deck soles, and made in Maine. Preppy for sure. Sizes are dispersed.

Repp Stripe Enamel Cufflinks – $19 FINAL ($128)

Speaking of preppy. Had been $128. … wait, what? Actually?

Wesson Crosshatch Leather Davis Briefcase – $199 FINAL ($425)

Most of leather exterior with a bit of structure to it. Removable shoulder strap, yet won't ever be confused for the messenger. Has some sophistication to it without a doubt, but it's not stuffy like hard-sided attaché cases can be.

Stillwell 38mm Watch in Black, Gold, or even Cream Dial – $109 FINAL ($328)

Seems like the watch collection these people introduced not that far back again didn't go over amazingly well. The prices had been just… really high. But now, $109 for a Sapphire Crystal, Swiss Quartz watch? Not half-bad if you drill down the design. Has some retro elements taking place, especially in terms of the case size. Simply 38mm. Red tipped second hand. Tones of Shinola.

Oxblood Reed Leather-based Money Clip – $19 FINAL ($68)

Great color on this one. It could be weirdly difficult to find a not as well plain, but not super flashy cash clip.

Dipped Industrial Canvas Short – $89 FINAL ($198)

Not your own average briefcase. Sorta a brief/tote hybrid with a dipped rubber bottom. Brown waxwear handles prove that will once again, in some cases, brown and dark go great together.

Norton 2-Eye 38mm Chronograph – $149 FINAL ($398)

From the sounds of the one evaluation, this thing is a bit darker (all around) than it appears online. Darkish gunmetal case, and the strap can be darker as well? For those who like a smaller sized watch, but still appreciate a chronograph. Sapphire crystal & Swiss quartz movement.

A nicely sized duffel with 2581 cubic inches of room. Waxed canvas exterior. Removable glenohumeral joint strap. Metal feet. Minimalist.

Flint Nylon Davis Brief – $99 FINAL ($278)

Now nicely inexpensive, all while looking much more costly. But the one review mentions the corner blew out after minimum use.

The Surplus Sale (and advertisement buy! ) runs through Wed February 11th.
